The Artisan Rawtenstall Are Getting In The Groove Again For This Years Rossendale 60’s Festival Weekend

Beth and Danny Solazzo, owners of The Artisan in Rawtenstall have confirmed their programme of entertainment over the Rossendale 60’s Festival weekend of 8th, 9th and 10th September. Just check this out!

They have loads going on for Rossendale’s famous 60’s Festival, and they totally can’t wait. Here’s a run down of what you can expect to see at The Artisan

Thursday 7th – We will be kicking off the weekend with an Acoustic Session and a 2 4 1 pizza deal

Friday 8th – ‘The Thunderkatz’ will be playing live – brilliant and authentic Manchester based 50’s and 60’s band + live DJ playing 60s psych/soul/ska and much more

Saturday 9th – We will have a special 60s open mic session taking place from around 2pm until 7pm all players welcome. From 9pm we will have superb local band ‘Cornelius Font’ playing live 60s classics with support from ‘Nic Boardman’ and ‘DJ Bunter’ and ‘Pete Willets’ super sounds of the 60’s DJ set to keep us dancing until the early hours.

Sunday 10th – ‘DJ Modest Matt’ will be getting out his special 7″ vinyl from around 3pm playing us some 60’s Northern Soul / Soul / motown / mod and Ska classics followed by great live / local band ‘Quick Fix’ early evening who will play us some live 60’s classics!!
